On the morning of August 2, 2024, Mediastep Software Vietnam successfully hosted the launch event for SourceVietnam.com. This marks the launch of Vietnam’s first cross-border B2B e-commerce platform, designed to simplify the export process for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and OCOP entities looking to access international markets.

SourceVietnam.com Promises to Break Export Barriers 

With Vietnam’s export growth at the beginning of 2024, reaching an estimated export turnover of USD 190.08 billion, Mediastep Software Vietnam expects that SourceVietnam.com will further assist Vietnamese enterprises, especially SMEs and OCOP entities, in confidently exporting goods across borders. 

The launch event in Hanoi on August 2, 2024, drew attention from representatives of various sectors, including:

  • Ms. Ngo Thi Tuyet Nhung – President of the International Trade Promotion Entrepreneurs Association. 
  • Dr. Nguyen Thi Tong – Deputy Director of the Center for Investment, Trade Promotion, and International Cooperation (VCCU). 
  • Mr. Ha Dinh Hoan – Chairman and CEO of ATM LUCKY JSC. 
  • Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thao – Director of Bich Thao Coffee Cooperative, Son La. 
  • Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Dao – Acting Vice President of the Vietnam Consumer Cooperative Union (VCCU). 
  • Ms. Emmily Nguyen – Director of the Representative Office of Gmarco Germany for Export Trade Promotion, Beauty Queen Ambassador of Tourism. 
  • Mr. Dao Cong Truong – Director of Golden Cow Milk JSC, Ba Vi. 

And dozens of representatives from businesses and entrepreneurs who have the need to promote and export goods to foreign markets, as well as representatives from media agencies (Business and Brand Newspaper, Nhan Dan online Newspaper, Youth Newspaper, Cafe F Newspaper).

The launch of SourceVietnam.com is the result of years of research and discussions with leaders of various sectors and enterprises in Vietnam that have export needs but face challenges in implementation. For OCOP entities and SMEs, despite efforts to improve product quality and achieve favorable business outcomes in the domestic market, exporting agricultural products and goods to international markets remains difficult due to customer access processes and export procedures.
